Create an old school neighborhood joint , where the community gathers for locally inspired tavern fare- One of the oldest buildings in Granby, rich in history, as a backdrop for new memories to be made- Innovative spirits , specialty bourbons and select whiskeys set the table for an array of craft beers- A new hub for our town where friends share some laughs or watch the game at their home away from home…Four Dads Pub. Good food and drink, fair prices and a little bit of rock n roll.
The concept of for Four Dads Pub was developed on a whim. Eugene, Dante and Mike were driving to an out of town establishment to watch football on a Sunday. During the ride Eugene mentioned how nice it would be if Granby had a place where you could catch a game while grabbing a great sandwich, some wings and wash it down with a cold beer. Dante brought up that he had been sitting on a similar concept for a few years, a place that Granby folks the can call their own. A real neighborhood joint...a place run by local dads for dads. Mike then responded and said that’s what we can call it “For Dads”. During that afternoon the dialogue continued regarding this vision while while enjoying some football, grub and suds. The idea grew to a place, not just "for dads" , but for all of Granby...a real community spot. However one of our four team members was missing, Mario was away with his family on a ski trip. Mike began feverishly texting him the concept and even though he was only catching half the info, Mario simply said "I'm in!" From there...“Four Dads” was born.
Happy Independence Day!
